Crystallum Peter Max Pinot Noir 2019

This has got to be one of my favourite Pinot noirs from South Africa. It is absolutely stunning.

When I got back from South Africa this year I was gutted that I couldn’t bring much wine back with me so when I had the opportunity to do a virtual meet the winemaker Peter-Allan at a west London class with crystal wines I jumped at the chance.

This wine has naturally fermented with some grapes left on stalks as whole bunch clusters and left on skins for 4 weeks.

Wine would age beautifully but would challenge anyone not to indulge in this sooner as it’s just so so good.
