Whose tried Lambrusco before ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ?

(Not to be confused with Lambrini mind you ๐Ÿ™ˆ)

This a fizzy RED wine! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I had it last week, for the first time in a while, and it still blows my mind ๐Ÿคฏ

The Lambrusco grape ๐Ÿ‡ varieties are from Italyโ€™s Emilia- Romagna region ๐ŸŒ , which is one of the wealthiest regions in Italy and Europe ๐Ÿ’ฐ . Itโ€™s also home to the worlds oldest university - University of Bologna!

I tried this Lambrusco Grasparossa that I picked up from @majesticwine and it was great! I preferred it served slightly chilled to room temperature and with a lovely selection of Parma hams๐Ÿท.

.

For me some styles work better with food, especially if Iโ€™m new to them, but as I taste more wines Iโ€™m finding how to appreciate grapes and styles for what they are. Uniqueness is amazing ๐Ÿฅฐ
